It has become an organization that kidnaps people and puts them in forced work camps for their own profit. The Earth Defense Force, or EDF (the allies in the first Red Faction), has changed. Red Faction: Guerrilla takes place in 2208, 50 years after the events of the first Red Faction, and about 45 years after the events of Red Faction II. The game is the third installment in the Red Faction series. and published by THQ, set to be released at the end of June 2009.
